You may come to Shedd Aquarium for its animals, but be sure to explore its gardens, too. Inside and out, Shedd is committed to conserving and protecting the Great Lakes, promoting biodiversity and working to reduce climate change. Across more than three acres of gardens, Shedd uses sustainable management tools that minimize pesticide use, provide habitat for native wildlife, benefit the climate and, of course, create beautiful spaces for you to enjoy.
