Membership
For every one of our 37,000 member households, there are 37,000 things we can accomplish at Shedd.
It’s great to belong to something. It’s even better to belong to something great — like Shedd. Our members make wonderful things possible. Our collections and exhibits, like the reimagined Oceanarium. Our conservation efforts and education programs. There are also some great perks including free admission for a year.
Member Benefits
All membership levels receive:
• Invitations to exclusive member events
• Early notices and discounts on education classes and programs

Individual $80
• Free and unlimited entry to all aquarium exhibits for the member and one guest each visit
• One membership card
Family/Household $145
• Free and unlimited entry to all aquarium exhibits for two adults and up to four children 18 and under
• Two membership cards (for two adults in the same household)
Family/Household plus $160
• Free and unlimited entry to all aquarium exhibits for two adults and up to five children 18 and under
• Add additional children in the household age 18 and under for $15 each
• Two membership cards (for two adults in the same household)
Partner $195
• Free and unlimited entry to all aquarium exhibits for up to four adults and four children 18 and under
• Free tickets to the annual members Open House
• Two membership cards (for two adults in the same household)
Associate $250
• Free and unlimited entry to all aquarium exhibits
• Free tickets to the annual members Open House
• Two membership cards (for two adults in the same household)
• Invitations to Right Bite events hosted at Chicago-area restaurants
• Invitations to Auxiliary Board events
• Subscription to the donor publications
• Recognition in annual donor listing
• Reserved seating for daily Oceanarium shows (upon availability)
Sponsor $500

• Entry into drawings for private behind-the-scenes tours
• Invitation to annual Board of Trustees gala
